Dr. Carl Chrislock, a history professor at Augsburg, teaching students in a classroom, circa 1976. The board reads "Parallels between the pre-World War I Balkan area and the contemporary Middle East. In 1968, Chrislock wrote "Fjord to Freeway" to commemorate Augsburg's centennial. "This image was used as part of a slideshow entitled "The Growth Years," created by the Augsburg College Center for Student Development: slide number 63.
