In this oral history interview, Amal Issa shares about her upbringing in the Somali community. She also mentioned her involvement in the Brian Coyle Center, Project for Pride in Living, Sisterhood Boutique, and her service learning experience, as a math major at the University of Minnesota. Amal ends the interview with her concerns for the Somali community. This oral history project was conducted by a student at Augsburg University and submitted in partial fulfillment of a course taught by Dr. Maheen Zaman.
