On May 15, 1968, Augsburg canceled class to invite speakers from the Black community to discuss racism during "One Day in May." The day was a focus of the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Convocation in January 2020. The banner reads "Justice Long Delayed is Justice Denied," and it was part of 68/20, a community-based art and activism project led by Leon Wang.
