Junior II. 4 credits. 52. SHAKESPEARE. Study of the development of Shakespeare as a dramatist with thoro analysis of about eight of the best plays up to “Twelfth Night”. Brief critical analysis of other plays of this period. Also examination of Shakespeare’s methods of obtaining and using materials for his plays and of his motives in their production. An intimate acquaintance with his genius and person- ality sought. Four periods a week. Junior III. 4 credits. 53. SHAKESPEARE. Continued study of Shake- speare’s dramas, with careful analysis of about eight of the best plays produced after "Twelfth Night”.
