The college moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1872. What happended this a First and successful year the student elections were held online. Students were able to see their grades online without the usual wait through the postal office. We merged with Musictech College to make a four year music degree available to Musictech students. AISSP celebrated their Silver Anniversary (25 years). Between the 1940's and 1950's dancing was not allowed on campus! ©

Show more14 izard of Aus® By Tyra Jensen omecoming is not complete without the Talent Show and Coronation. The nights events were EmCeed by Michelle Morse and Adam Dehnel. They entered the chapel in song and blessed the audience with their witty comments and crowd- pleasing talent. Creativity was in the air as the performers emanated their talents. First place went to seniors Emily Gerard and Callie Hutchinson for their performance of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Dorothy played the harp while the Wicked Witch of the West accompanied her on violin. Matt Helmer’ performance of “In the Jailhouse NoW took second place. Matt added his own comical verse to the tune involving lyrics about Pastor Dave. “Amazing Grace” sung by Kari F.gerstrom and Miranda Nelson finished third. Following the variety show, winners of the court were announced. 2002 Homecoming King and Queen were Brad Motl (Student Senate) and Dega Ali (PASU, ResLife). Nicki Ziegler commented, “The Drag Show and Con- test attracted nearly 500 students this fall. Every time we have it the show keeps growing and growing? Senior Nicki Ziegler and sophomore Christine Claridge were the co-chairs of Queer and Straight in Unity, QSU, who sponsored the event.
