Support Program Cindy Peterson — Assistant The American Indian Support Program has been on Augsburg’s campus since 1978. This organization offers a variety of options for students. They provide a teaching program in cooperation with Minneapolis public schools to increase American Indian teachers in the public school system. They also offer an American Indian Studies minor, and an Anishinabe Library wich has over 1,000 books, journals, videos and research materials. Show moreSAC STUDEN ALUMNI COUNCIL Student Alumni Council (SAC), now in its fourth year, is an organization of students who work to develop professional contacts and friendships with active alumni and bring the resources those alumni provide to the student body. Student Alumni Council’s largest activity was the Career Roundtable on March 10, where SAC brought in 21 alumni to speak with and meet 80 students. Also, in the spirit of helping the community around Augsburg, SAC participated in a Com- munity Service Project on April 16.
